Bulk Operations Engineering Intern

The Bulk Operations Engineering Intern monitors and support the bulk manufacturing of products and processes.  This responsibility includes assisting Bulk Engineers with monitoring, trending and analyzing production activities for identifying improvement opportunities, development and implementation of strategies, and evaluation for effectiveness.   

 Responsibilities:

• Assisting with Routine Equipment Monitoring: Performing basic checks on the Blow-Fill-Seal machines to ensure they are running smoothly and reporting any irregularities to senior engineers.
• Supporting Preventative Maintenance: Under supervision, assist with scheduled maintenance tasks, such as cleaning or checking equipment parts, to ensure the equipment is in good working condition.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering data on the performance of BFS systems (e.g., fill rates, sealing efficiency) and assisting in preliminary analysis to help identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Participating in Equipment Setups and Tests: Assisting engineers with setting up BFS systems for production runs or process trials, learning the key aspects of machine setup and configuration.

Qualifications:

• Progressing to Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, or directly related field.

• Strong interpersonal/group communication skills

• Proficient with MS Office products
