Payroll Specialist

Full-Time
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for all employees and providing support for various payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments as per company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Participate in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Generate and distribute year-end tax documents, including W-2 forms.
- Handle other payroll-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience working as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with PAYCOM is a plus.
